National Institute of Fashion Technology, India

National Institute of Design

Declared as the ‘Institution of National Importance’, NID was established in 1961 and is one of the finest research and educational institutes for communication, IT integrated and textile design courses. National Institute of Design offers aspiring candidates undergraduate, postgraduate, foundation and international programs.

  1. Film and video Communication
    In this program the institute trains students in short film and classical film. This film program introduces students to social and communication theory and technology and language of video and film. 
  2. Furniture and Interior Design 
    A specialised program under the department of industrial design, furniture and interior design program focuses on learning-by-doing with the hands-on approach. The students are filled in with thorough knowledge of structure, form, context and material through labs and workshops.
  3. Apparel Design

Founded in 1996 Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology offers undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs for students.

  1. Technical Diploma Program in Graphic Design
    This is a one year graduation program to get enrolled in which the candidate must have completed 10+2. The applicant will have to go through an entrance test, a portfolio review and an interview.
